Back to School...Back to School....

At the last minute I decided to offer back to school mini sessions.  I had been thinking about it for awhile, but just didn't plan it.  I only had two families but it was a perfect evening of mini sessions!  These kids are adorable.  We met at Gantz Park in the evening light and had some fun.

It took her a little while to warm up....but then she was cracking me up!  We did a few quick ones with her brother...and I mean QUICK. He's a fast little bugger!

I've been photographing these two lovely girls for awhile...I love them.  They are always dressed so adorable, and are willing to do whatever I ask of them--while chatting with me the entire time.  Love that!

Little miss....she stole a bite from an apple while no one was looking.  Then we busted her out--err her mom did.  FUNNY!

Thank you Amanda and Omega for bringing your kiddos out last week.  I hope you enjoy your images!!

Bo & Jess are MARRIED!

I went to high school with one of Jess' brothers.  So I was thrilled when she called me to meet about shooting their big day.   Jess & Bo got married on a beautiful Saturday afternoon.  They had a small short ceremony at their church and then a larger reception afterwards.  Congratulations you two, I wish you many, many years of happiness!! Enjoy your sneak peek!

High Five!  That's their thing :)

 Tacos for dinner? YES, Please!

Lots of rice crispy treats for the kiddos! (and me!)

She has 12 nieces and nephews...and two more on the way!  :) (We're missing one in this photo)

Chad & Tasha...Married!

Chad & Tasha (love her name) are friends with my "Jamaica Bride & Groom" (as I like to call them, or Ashley & Ryan as their named by their parents).   Tasha & Chad were looking for a photographer for their wedding, so Ashley & Ryan were kind enough to refer them to me!  They got married at Tasha's Aunt & Uncle's home in Marysville, Ohio.  It was HOT outside but they had a fabulous day!

A few of my brides!  Left to right; Future bride (Kendall), current bride (Tasha), me!, and past bride (Ashley, aka, Jamaica Bride) Love them all!
Tasha & Chad, Thank you for allowing me to be a part of your wonderful day.  I hope you enjoy this sneak peek!

Kendra & Brandon are ENGAGED!

These two love birds are getting married, and I get to shoot their reception!  I've known Brandon for a long time.  We went to the same school... his brother and I are the same age.  The two of them came to my fall mini sessions this past fall, and they brought their adorable dog Snoop...then a few months later Kendra emailed me asking me to shoot their wedding reception.  They're planning to eloupe in St. John in January...just the two of them!  How romantic is that?  LOVE it!  Then they're going to have a wedding reception here, in Columbus in March of 2013.
I had a great time working with you guys, and I cannot wait to shoot your reception next year!

Enjoy!

Janie & Chad, Married!!

Janie & Chad are married!  They had a beautiful ceremony at the Methodist Church in Bexley!  Originally they planned to have their ceremony at the little chapel on at Capital University then a few months before their memorial day weekend wedding, they got a phone call from someone at the University telling them the church was closed because it's filled with MOLD.  Fantastic news.  LUCKILY they were able to find a church who wasn't booked for their wedding date!

Such a beautiful bride.  We can thank Sarah for that shot :)
Janie & Chad wanted to do a first look, so that we had plenty of time for their photos.  LOVE that.  The front of the church has these BEAUTIFUL doors, so we HAD to use them.

Chad, whisper something dirty in her ear and make her laugh.... Don't know what he said, but it worked!

 Rockin' the PINK HEALS!

Not to shabby for a last minute church, huh? :)
I LOVE this one.... That Sun was so bright, but I love this.  Nice Sarah!

Lots of photos around Capital, before the reception!

Janie made all of these centerpieces, didn't she do a fabulous job?
And of course, some photobooth fun before the night was over!

Congratulations you two, I wish you a lifetime of happiness!  Thank you for allowing Sarah and I to be a big part of your wedding day, we were honored to be there with you!
