The Miller Family!

 Meet the Miller Family!  Aren't they all beautiful :)  Jess won a session from me several months back, and we've had this day scheduled for a LONG time...they all got new outfits and traveled to Ohio.  We were really worried about the weather :(  Our original day, Sunday ended up getting rained out so we did the session Monday morning.  It was chilly...but it was NOT raining, so that was good!

GO bucks!

Sarah and I started planning these sessions MONTHS ago.  You have to when you need three hours in the OSU stadium!  We filled up our spots within a day....so then we just waited for the day to come.  The morning started out with thunderstorms really early...I woke up at like 3:00am hoping and praying that it got all it's storming out of the way before 9:00am.  We arrived at 9:00am ready to shoot away!

We had a fantastic day and ended up with some great images!!

Now we're doing a contest.  If you visit my facebook fan page, and click "like" on the photo of your choice...voting will end this Friday at 9:00pm.  The winner will receive $50 off a session of their choice.  Vote away!!

The perfect bow!

I'm sitting here editing away at Brooke & Bret's wedding photos.  I came across one that I thought deserved it's own blog post.

I can be a bit OCD.  I think most people who really KNOW me, know that.  (Aren't we all a bit OCD, in some way? Just say yes!)  One of my "things" is perfect bows.  I'm kind of anal about them.  When a bride is getting dressed...I always worry if her dress has a bow, that it will look just PERFECT.  Well I used to just hold it in, and keep it to myself...but the secrets out.  I tied my first bow on a bride last fall.  It was my pleasure! :)  THEN, while second shooting with Sarah a few months back, the bride got her dress on...someone started to tie the bow and they asked if anyone could tie a good bow.  I almost didn't say anything...but then I did.  "I can."  "Seriously?" they replied with a smile.  "Yes!" I said.  I jumped in and tied her a perfect bow!

Then at my last wedding...it happened again.  "Can anyone tie a good bow?"  they asked.  (Of course directing it to the other bridesmaids in the room)  "Tasha can!"  Sarah said.  I jumped in and tied her a perfect bow too.  I'm so glad I could complete your dresses; Kim, Cristina & Brooke!  <3

Bret + Brooke {Married}

I love these two!  Love them!
Brooke is a friend of another one of my brides, and she came to me MONTHS ago...Bret was deployed and she was planning the wedding.  We met at Panera on a cold rainy night and chatted over frozen drinks.  {yum}  Fast forward a few months...Bret comes home just a few short weeks before the wedding and I finally get to meet him for the first time.

These two had a beautiful day for their wedding, hot yes, but it was beautiful.  They decided to do a first look ::Photographers cheer with excitement::.  It was wonderful.  I asked them afterwards if it was worth it...and they said YES!  :)

 The shoe shot was one of Sarah's.  Nice Sarah! :) Love that one!
We had fun...can you tell? :)
Congratulations you two.  We LOVED working with you, and wish you MANY years of happiness! xoxoxo
